It was a Monday afternoon when Mr.Mohr's gym class was walking down the hall, trying to make their way around the janitors sweeping the floor. The students got ready and put their jewelry in the locker room.

When the gym class was over the kids got ready to go home and put their jewelry back on,but when Amanda went to get her jewelry it was gone! She looked everywhere in the two gyms, but she didn't find anything. Amanda was missing her real gold earrings, and her silver necklace. She began to think to think of who could have stolen her girl.

Amanda thought and thought but nothing came to mind. After Amanda told Mr. Mohr what had happened he told her to go to the office and see if anyone had put it in the lost-and-found box, but, just Amanda's luck, nothing was there.

While Amanda was at the office Mrs.Borowski said,"Keep your jewelry down here for the rest of the time you're in gym."

After school that day Amanda and her friend looked in the two gyms, but still found nothing.

Answer: While the janitors were sweeping the floor they sweeped put Amanda's jewelry and through it into the trash.Mr.Mohr found the jewelry in the trash and the next day he gave Amanda's jewelry back.
