Mystery in the New York Museum ~ By Brett

Earlier in my life a diamond was stolen in The New York City Museum.

The minute the burglar stepped inside, an alarm sounded at the police station. They called the manager of the museum to inspect and see if anything was stolen. By the time they got to the crime scene the criminal escaped and, sure enough, he stole the most expensive and best-guarded diamond in the museum. There was only one clue that was left behind and this clue lead the police straight to the New York Airport. This airport was the only one that you could leave the country from. Before they left they called and told the authorities to be on the lookout for a man who was trying to go to South America but couldn't find something he needed to leave.

Sure enough, they found him within a half hour. His name was Jeremy Becker and he had had a partner working with him in South America. His name was Jono Rourke and the two were planning on selling the diamond for one hundred million dollars.

That story was from when I was a criminal and I was the one called Jono Rourke.

How did the clue lead the police to the airport?
