The day was all most here! The day of the big game; the Northpoint Knights vs.the Littletown Lions. Cral was so excited that he had to get the pep rally on his camcorder to remember the event. It was Wednesday and the pep rally was on Friday. Cral and his friends were on the team that was going to play.
Thursday had more people excited than Wednesday, but Marten, Pete, and Lynn couldn't care less. They could never understand why people got so jumpy ,as Lynn put it, during this time. Maybe because they were outsiders or maybe just not fans of sports. They were teased but it seemed not to bother them except for how Martin took it kind of hard now and then. It hurt him the most when the team players teased because he wasn't good in sports.
Friday morning had come just as fast as Thursday, but something was wrong. Everybody was staring at Martin and laughing. He asked some other people what was going on but they just laughed with the rest of them. Then he saw Lynn in her new blue with white lined Nike sneakers. She looked sorry for him when she told him that Cral was making fun of him because of his poor performance in gym class. That was it. Martin was so upset that he felt like beating up Cral but he knew that he would be the one who was going to get his butt kicked so he thought of a plan.
The rest of the day Cral thought about apologizing to Martin because he started the teasing, but Cral never saw him until the pep rally.
That night at the pep rally Cral again looked for Martin but he was nowhere to be seen. Cral had his camcorder and was filming the pep rally when he had to go to the bathroom. In the bathroom Cral thought he heard something but he saw nothing and put his cam corder on a shelf next to the sinks. When he was in the stall he saw someone's feet coming close to the camcorder and heard the water running and then the feet in blue and white sneakers ran away. When Cral got out of the stall his saw his camcorder in the sink with water.
"My camcorder is ruined!" Cral screamed as he was running out of the bathroom.

Lynn had to commit the crime because Cral saw the blue white lined sneakers that Lynn was wearing earlier that day, and Cral had to see Lynn because she knew that he was making fun of Marten.
