It was a Sunday evening. Alicia had just gotten back from a weekend in New Hampshire with her friends. when she went into the basement and found her husband Brian, lying there dead on the floor. She ran up the stairs, and called the police right away.

The minute the police and Detective Brett got there she started crying. She cried and cried for hours. She had just married Brian a year ago.

The police had found a gun lying next to Brian`s dead body. They said they would try to find fingerprints on the weapon.

Detective Brett asked her "Do you have any enemies?"

A picture of Ian`s jealous face flashed in her mind. She also remembered how angry Zach was on her wedding day. She told Detective Brett these names along with Kate`s, her enemy from college who wanted Brian as her man. After Alicia told Brett, he left.

The next morning Detective Brett reported that they found no fingerprints on the gun, and Brett was going to question these suspects. Brett asked each suspect where they were at the time of the murder.

Kate said, "I was at Alison`s house."

Ian said, "Uh, I was at the bank, I think."

Zach said, "I was at the mall." (and he had proof too)

"Well, it looks like they`re all cleared," said Alicia disappointed and she went off to cry in the corner. "

WAIT!" Brett burst out, and Alicia turned around. "Ian, you said you were at the bank at the time of the murder right?"

"That is correct," Ian replied.

"Than you are under arrest for the murder of Alicia`s husband, Brian." Detective Brett shouted!
